I was in a state of sheer panic. It's not a surprise to be stressed before the wedding. After all, it was the most important day of my daughter's life, & one of the most significant days of mine.

It seems that the florist had mixed up the floral arrangement. It is not like we hadn't given him specific instructions. Just like with assembling the wholesale wedding favors, we gave step by step instructions. But when he screwed up at the last minute, it was more than I could take.

It wasn't like the flower arrangements for the wedding day were slightly off. They were not right at all. If the flowers for weddings had been, say, a lighter shade of purple as opposed to the dark purple that I had chosen, it would have been alright. As it was, they were altogether different. I assume that combined them with some other arrangements for weddings ordered by some other wedding day party. They were probably having the exact same nervous fit that I was having right now. As opposed to the dark violet floral brides bouquet that we had desired, we're presented with a collection of Calla lily arrangements. I think that calla lilies make great arrangements for weddings, but they didn't go together with anything. They clashed terribly. All the guests were kind about it, but I can't believe that nobody noticed!
