Nonetheless, when she figured out that I wasn't going to stay it doesn't matter how much she begged and pleaded, she relented and made the decision to listen to the kids audio books.

She actually truly enjoyed it. I like to believe that she still enjoys the way I read more than she likes kids books on cd, but I bet it is a close-call. The children audio-book readers are awesome. My diction isn't bad, and I am a pretty emotional reader, but these are real qualified performers. Your average run of the mill father just simply cannot compete! They know exactly how to read kids books to make them thrilling and interactive, keeping your children on the edge until the very last page. Although my little girl is still unhappy when I go out of town, the kids books on cd make my trip a tad bit easier on her. Both of us are quite happy about that.
